Audio ready to go?

Scope the problem

Our team was running up against a quick timeline heading into a go/no-go decision where we needed to get a user perspective on the quality of an unreleased audio editing feature.

Process

I developed a moderation guide with our cross functional stakeholders, ran a usability test with 10 participants in the lab, synthesized feedback on both the quality and the usability of the audio editing feature, and was able to make a recommendation to the team on whether we should proceed with feature launch based on this feedback.

Impact

Not only were we able to meet our quality bar with this feature and launch, but we were also able to incorporate user feedback into future iterations of the feature to improve its quality and meet user needs.
